Smoke & Slow(“we,” “us”) is a content website published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. We keep data collection to a minimum. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Analytics.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links are clicked. This uses cookies and similar technologies and collects data such as your approximate location, device and browser, and pages viewed. It is used in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Contact form. If you message us, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, so we can reply. We use this only to respond to you and do not sell it or add it to a marketing list.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information (such as IP address and request details) for security and reliability.

Affiliate links and cookies

When you click an affiliate link (for example to Amazon), the retailer may set a cookie that credits us with a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. That process is governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure for how the links work.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t run user accounts, take payments, or store payment details — Smoke & Slow is a content site, and any purchase happens on the retailer’s own website, not ours.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use browser or device controls to opt out of analytics tracking.
  • You can contact us to ask what contact-form data we hold about you and request that we delete it.

Third parties

The main third parties involved in running this site are Google (analytics), our hosting provider, and the retailers we link to (such as Amazon). Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
